Standard One-on-One Classes
One-on-one tutoring session where classes are are focused on in-depth teaching of concepts (without any problem solving).
Circuit One-on-One ClassesÂ
One-on-one tutoring session where classes are focused on homework/assignment problem solving (faster pace and without extensive theory). There are multiple private rooms for the tutor to switch between (switching occurs when a student is busy working on a question).
PBL Group Classes
Problem Based LearningÂ
With two or more students of similar mathematical strengths, I will teach mathematical concepts in depth. These classes will be group-based for delivering the lessons, while other portions take a more individualized approach.
The structure of these classes follow a cycle of me teaching and then students working on related problems. The problem-solving phase is carried out in a private and anonymous setting, similar to one-on-one tutoring.
At the end of each session, there will be an open space where participants are able to discuss about any other math topic. Optional homework will also be handed out during this time.
